To lead a conversation about the future of any particular space, you need people with big ideas. People that are at the forefront of a space, keeping pulse of the activity and diving-in to try out new ideas.

Ryan Stewart was once THE RIA blogger. Before Adobe wisely swept him up, Ryan was crisscrossing the country to find all the coolest players in the RIA Space. With his Digitalbackcountry blog, you could keep track about all things related to the budding RIA space. We've asked Ryan to put that hat on. He's going to come back as that former blogger of old, brimming with ideas and reviews of all the cool tech going down in the RIA space. When someone has the foresight to jump on a new technology space before it's cool to do so, you know the tech is flowing through their veins. There's a story of Ryan getting an email about Microsoft announcing the Silverlight name at midnight in the middle of a bar. Unphased, Ryan whips out his laptop and starts blogging the news. You can't buy passion like that. Don't be surprised to catch Ryan chatting tech in the halls as you walk around for a midnight snack or night cap.
Doug comes from the Flex world, but don't expect this to be a simple Flex talk. Doug likes to play and if you read his blog you see that. From recreating bumptop in flex to growing man-boobs with Augmented Reality, there's nothing safe from his inquisitive nature. The interesting thing about Doug is he has no qualms stating that he rips ideas off and builds upon other people's work. If there some public or open source package out there to help Doug get an idea to fruition faster, he'll use it. Giving full credit to those that deserve it, but probably using the toolset in a way unimagined by the original creators. By having Doug there, we're looking forward to hear about how to leverage the past as we step forward into the future.
